North East Institute for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (NEIMISS)

The North East Institute for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (NEIMISS) was founded by Advanced Orthopaedic Specialists Neurosurgeon, Anthony Salerni, MD, with the belief that minimally invasive spine surgery, when possible, is a better option for patients.

Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery was developed to treat disorders of the spine with less disruption to the muscles, which can result in quicker recovery and return to normal function. Technological advances have expanded the array of spinal disorders that may be treated, such as degenerative disc disease, herniated disc, fractures, tumors, infections, instability, and deformity.

NEIMISS offers the experience of board certified and fellowship-trained surgeons — the top professionals in their field. These highly skilled physicians have advanced training in traditional and groundbreaking surgical procedures to offer patients a broad scope of treatment options.
